TOP THREE PLACES ON MY TRAVEL BUCKET LIST

Right so my plan to publish on Tuesdays kind of went a bit pear shaped last week. I was really busy so I totally forgot to finish and publish my post but hopefully I'm back on track now..
Now I have only been to about five different places outside of the UK and I have never been out of Europe! I've been to Normandy & Disneyland Paris in France, Malia in Greece and Padua & Venice in Italy. I had a really nice time at each of these places although there are a lot more destinations that I would of rather been however I am only going to talk about my main three.

1. New York

New York is somewhere that I have longed to visit. I grew up watching different films and TV shows that took place in New York and everywhere just looked really exciting. There seemed to be so many things you could do and so many places you could see. I would definitely aim to visit the Empire State Building and see a Broadway show, ride in a yellow taxi and have a picnic in Central Park. Go see the Statue of Liberty and sit on the met steps. Of course though I would wait until I was 21 to go to New York because what's a holiday without a cheeky drink?!

2. Melbourne

Melbourne is a Coastal city in Australia. Now I love looking at pictures of Australia because I just think there ocean looks amazing. The Great Barrier Reef in Queensland especially. Melbourne is another great location in Australia and I think the city looks amazing as well as the ocean that surrounds it. I would definitely try some water sports in Melbourne which includes surfing! Although I would probably fall of my board 105679 times.

3. San Francisco

San Francisco is another place that always popped up in films however it didn't have the same effect as New York had on me at the time. Although at College I looked into some of the attractions in San Francisco for an assignment and thought they all looked really cool. I would drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, take a ride on a cable car, visit places like Fisherman's Wharf, China Town and Union Square where there are many things to see and do.

So that's it guys my top three destinations on my list, feel free to comment below what places would be the top of your lists! Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow me on twitterinstagram and bloglovin'!

  3. Hi Emma,
I just found your blog via a facebook group and I am loving it! You will definitely have a new bloglovin follower from now on :) I also totally agree with the list you posted. I have been to New York and lived in San Francisco and both of those cities are just downright amazing. I hear a lot of good things about Melbourne too, although all of my friends from Sydney would shake their heads right now :D

I also have a travel blog and I am currently working on an extensive bucketlist for San Francisco, so maybe you want to stop by at some point ;)

    Cheers,
    Juliet

  4. I live in LA and I've been to both New York and San Franc. and Melbourne is on my list too!!! I think if you go to San Fran. you will find yourself captivated by so much out there. You have to check out the redwoods because they are breathtaking. And of course all the city eats and attractions are great options. Hope you get to go soon!!!

  7. Awesome! Melbourne is incredible - such a great city, awesome vibes & easy to get around. Melbourne is great for shopping, the cafe/restaurant/wine&dine scene. It gets very hot in summer but quite chilly in winter as it is quite far south. If you really want an ocean holiday in Oz though I'd recommend you head north. Sydney has some great beaches (think Bondi, Coogee) that are ideal for surfing, but further north into Queensland you've got places like Great Barrier Reef, then there's the Whitsundays...the city of Melbourne is such a vibrant place but most people who want a more beach/water related destination tend to head north. Water temperatures much warmer up north as well :) For me - my top three destinations? Palau, Reykjavik and Banff.
