So University is nothing like I expected, although I hadn't thought much about it I just knew that I wanted to get out of my mad house I call home and experience something different. I'm not quite sure whether I'd say I was enjoying it like I thought I would... It turns out you are forced into a lot of awkward situations where you practically have to talk to people in a quick amount of time to establish friends, you get drunk a lot.. like a lot, you are always bound to come down with a flu, you get homesick and you have tons of work to do.
Although the friends I have made are really sweet people, I haven't made really close friends yet like some of the other people I know, I'm not quite sure why that is, perhaps because I didn't opt for a very 'fun and social' halls. So instead of living with a lot of people who are around my age group and like the same things I do, I live with two Chinese girls, a Nigerian man ( sounds old but he's 27 so would have been weird for me to call him a boy ) and a Welsh girl. Now they are all really nice don't get me wrong but there is just a completely different culture background. I don't want to party every night but some nights I really get the feeling too but my flatmates wouldn't be someone I could ask if I did.
I'm optimistic though that it will only get better as time goes on! I have a lot planned with my classmates which sound like a lot of fun including 'Legit' which is a fundraising activity to see who can get the furthest away from here in 36 hours with no money and I will be sure to let you guys know how I get on!
I'm going to leave it here for now as I have an essay due this Friday
Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow me on twitter, instagram and bloglovin'!

The Leggit thing sounds like a lot of fun. It's still a little early to make close friends. You don't just want to friend anyone and have a bunch of fake friends clogging up your space. Even though your roomies are a different culture you can see it as an opportunity to learn new things. That is what college is all about. Exploring and learning things you never would and everyday life. You never know they might have similar interests.
